Written and recorded from October 2020 - March 2021, Foxtrot is the beginning of a new musical journey by Jackson Vincent, being affectionately dubbed "music for ghosts." As described by Jackson, music for ghosts is "music that speaks to the spirit. It can get dark and surreal at times, but it's a vibe that we've all found ourselves stuck in. It's a type of moody tune that would play as a ghost drifts across planes; a somewhat free spirit that doesn't quite belong where it is, but finds itself roaming around here anyway, forever looming. If you've ever felt like a ghost - like you don't belong or that you're not truly being seen or heard; like people are just going right through you - then this is music for you, made by a man who's been there too."
The one-man EP reflects a gloomy, grungy sound that places the listener into the misty woods at dawn. Telling tales of love and loss, Foxtrot displays a new take on indie music with an array of influences and sounds. The lyrics string together moments that listeners can often find themselves in; a poetic detailing of young adult life.

This is only the beginning.
